Look how cool they glow in a black light at night!!! Fun activity for the kids on a friday night. Yes, we use pliers to grab them, no worries, Boden is very good at it, and Easton Timber and Dix are content to hold the jar.
The problem is Darin likes to play with them after he catches them.

Mellissa gave us this 1000 piece puzzle. It took us six days to finish, but it was a fun!
I must admit Darin was a bit obsessive over it....funny!
Dixie has been developing her skills in guitar and singing....shes pretty good!

Dixie is turning eight next month and getting baptised. This is my baptism dress that my mother made for me twentythree years ago!!!! Wow, its been a LONG TIME...Anyway, we're making a few changes, taking the lace cover off the front & top, and shortning the sleaves, and oppening the neck area a little...I guess Dixie is a little slimmer than I was so we will also bring it in like an inch on the sides....FUN stuff!!!!

Swimming Lessons
We had our first swimming lesson of the summer today! Boden and Dixie are learning the strokes and breathing! Now we just need a POOL!
Easton and Timber did great too and really enjoyed their teacher. They are excited to go back tomarrow!
Zoo trip
Easton and Timber had fun at the zoo last week. I was amazed at how nice the Phoenix zoo is. There is even a water park to cool off at!

OK, it was in our back yard...
When it got dark, Darin told scarry stories!!!
I didnt know if they would actually fall asleep, but they did around 10pm.
Easton got up crying at midnight so I happily took him in to sleep in his bed.....And I in my bed (Yea!!! I'm so thankful for beds!!)
London's Run
Boden decided the day before to run the 10K with me. He beat me!!! He got third place in his age group and scored a nice metal!!

She was the first to brave the beast and inspired the rest of our clan to try!! Fun.
Easton did well too. He stayed on for at least 60 seconds.
Dixie, after watching all the other kids, had fun on the Bull too!!!
They even had an Alligator and other large reptiles at London's Run. It was such a fun day!
Picking Pecans
We had so much fun on Saturday. Darin noticed that a few trees, left from the Pecan Grove that was here before our neighborhood was, had pecans. We were shaking the trees and loaded up on Pecans....Fun Fun Fun
Its JANUARY in Arizona
We actually had to turn the cooler on last night to fall asleep. It was 80 degrees upstairs at 8pm in January. We don't need the heater.
